Power Wheel USA introduces on board battery mounting for 24 volt Heavy Duty Powrhitch.

Power Wheel USA has researched and found the right combination of battery type to be able to offer on board power on its 24 volt DC Heavy Duty Powrhitch.

The convenience of on board battery power, previously found only on our popular 12 volt Powrhitch 2, is now a part of our product line.

The development of a larger battery mounting and enclosure on the machine chassis, combined with two (2) 12 volt Deka Model 8GU1 GEL batteries or Powersonic 12350 comparable batteries makes this long sought option available to our customers.

At the left, you can see these two batteries wired in series (thick black jumper wire) to provide solid 24 volt performance to our Powrhitch Heavy Duty powered trailer mover.

Though a much more powerful machine, the Powrhitch 24 volt Heavy Duty still maintains the compact profile that has characterized this truly unique product for years.

Once again, Power Wheel USA responds to the needs of its customers who are seeking innovative solutions to their trailer parking requirements.

In October, 2005 Power Wheel USA delivered its first fully automatic internal mounted dual bank battery charger for the 24 volt Heavy Duty Powrhitch. This configuration uses the Promite 5.5 which offers automatic controlled 12 volt charging to each of the Deka 8GU1 deep cycle Gel batteries or comparable batteries.
