Dynamet Corporation, a division of
Carpenter Corporation, is a worldwide leader in the production of
specialty titanium metal products and is located in Pennsylvania. They
contacted Power Wheel USA for assistance in moving coiled titanium
wire into and out of a special heat treatment furnace. As with almost
all companies that contact us, this function was being done by
employees by hand pushing the loaded cart. |

Power wheel USA examined several photographs and the load weight and distance data provided by Dynamet and recommended our 10 RPM transmission with the soft start control card. This solution gave Dynamet employees precise control over the moving process eliminating the previous injury prone environment. |

Here is a close-up view
of how the Powrhitch Industrial Mover was attached to the titanium
wire cart to provide Dynamet with a safe and reliable solution to this
problem. Dynamet has just ordered a second Powrhitch Industrial Mover, this time with a 26 RPM transmission and soft start control card for another moving situation over a longer distance with a lighter weight load. |
